John, very good idea. I plan to track via RSS/ATOM using the Google Reader, which is how I normally get assorted collections of news.

I was going to make a separate post about RSS feeds, after giving folks a while to digest the basic idea of a blog. Our neighbors represent quite a range of technical awareness. But it's all good.
